Old Paintings

These Paintings are Paintings and owned by private owners. They are old and beautiful.

The last Four paintings are owned by the Lavina Family at Guadalupe. I was able to see the paintings when I went to the house of Mishy Lavina, it was my first time there and it was so grand. The house was old and beautiful and grand, the first thing that I noticed were the paintings, it captured me into the world I love, the beauty of Art. When I noticed the paintings the first thing that came into my mind is to capture this into a picture to remind me how beautiful art is, to remind me that how paintings makes and create the you inside you.

The first painting is a painting owned by my family, the Sinajon Family at Albur , Bohol. It was old and it has been there since I was young. I noticed it quite sometimes but when I went back to Albur Bohol last July 10, 2011 , I was able to notice it more and more. It came to my mind, that before I became a Visual Artist, I already have the gift of Art that God bestowed upon me. I captured the Painting to remind me always to Thank God for giving me the Gift and giving me the chance of enhancing and sharing it to others.

Sharing this to all keeps me going through the challenges in my life the journey of my life.

I entered the “Fernando Amorsolo Mentor and Apprentice National Art Competition” on the month of September 2011 under the category of Apprentice, I was able to pass the Visayas Phase under the top 6. I won the consolation price. The Art Exhibit and Awarding was Held on September 8th 2011 at SM Art Center Cebu

The Art Exhibit was so breath-taking. It was one of the most beautiful exhibit that I have been this year (2011)

Amidst of everything that has happened to me I was able to be successful in my own little way with the help of my family and support together with my friends. It was a very hard call for me as a beginner and just starting to learn and improve my gift as a visual artist.

I thank God for giving me a chance of owning and improving my gifts. Thank u to all who was there, Red Dulalas, Nikki Lagutin, Mishy Lavina, my Mom and my dad.. and to those who visited the exhibit during the days of September 8 to 14, 2011.
